About the Real Scania T124

The Scania T124 is a bonneted — or "torpedo" — variant of Scania's 4-series, the range Scania introduced in 1995. While Europe transitioned to the cab-over PRT-range in 2005, Scania kept building the 4-series in Brazil until 2007, and the snout-nosed T-cab, universally called the "bicudo" there, became a favorite among Brazilian long-haul drivers for its distinctive looks and road presence. The "124" designation marks Scania's 12-litre engine, placing the T124 among the more powerful conventional trucks of its era.
