About the Real Scania R730 V8 Streamline

The Scania R730 was the flagship of Scania's R-series Streamline generation, a facelift unveiled at the IAA show in September 2013 and produced at the company's Södertälje plant in Sweden. Power came from the 16.4-litre Scania DC16 V8, rated at 730 hp, which positioned the tractor among the most powerful series-production heavy trucks of its era. The Streamline update reshaped the front fairings and revised aerodynamics for long-haul fuel economy.
