About the Real Scania 113H

The Scania 113H belonged to the Swedish maker's 3-series range, launched in 1987 and crowned International Truck of the Year in 1989. In Brazil it was assembled at Scania's São Bernardo do Campo plant, where the 113 line — topped by the 113H and its 11-litre inline-six diesel — earned a reputation for durability and running economy that made it a fixture of the country's long-haul routes through the 1990s. Production of the 3-series wound down as the 4-series took over from the mid-1990s, but the 113H remains one of the most fondly remembered heavy trucks in Brazilian road culture.
