Scania 111 Jacaré – Classic Brazilian Truck Mod for Proton Bus Simulator

The Scania 111 "Jacaré" is one of the most iconic trucks in Brazilian road history, and this mod brings the bonneted hauler to Proton Bus Simulator as a 4x2 tractor pulling a semi-trailer. Its unmistakable long hood earned it the "alligator" nickname, and here it comes with a diesel soundscape and mobile-repacked textures, so it installs and runs on both Android and Windows builds.

About the Real Scania 111 Jacaré

The Scania L111 — universally nicknamed "Jacaré" (alligator) in Brazil for its long, snout-like hood — entered production in 1976 as the successor to the L110, built at Scania's São Bernardo do Campo plant, the company's Brazilian home since 1962. It was offered in L (4x2), LS (6x2) and LT (6x4) versions, and its rugged reliability made the bonneted hauler a king of the country's highways through the late 1970s. The last L111 rolled off the line on 1 April 1981, when the cab-over T112 took over, but the "Jacaré" remains one of the most beloved classic trucks in Brazilian trucking culture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Scania 111 called "Jacaré"?
Brazilian drivers nicknamed it "Jacaré" (alligator) because the elongated hood and cabin lines resemble an alligator's snout — the defining silhouette of Scania's conventional L-series trucks.
Does the Scania 111 Jacaré mod run on Android?
Yes. The textures were repacked to reduce file size and keep frame rates stable on mobile, so the truck installs and runs on Proton Bus Simulator for Android as well as Windows.
When was the real Scania L111 built?
It was produced at Scania's São Bernardo do Campo plant from 1976 until 1 April 1981, when it was replaced by the cab-over T112.
