About the Real Volvo VM 330

The Volvo VM launched in 2003 as Volvo's first semi-heavy truck for Brazil, designed and built exclusively at the company's Curitiba (Paraná) industrial complex and sold only across Latin America. The VM 330 sits at the top of the range with a 330 hp engine, offered with gearboxes from six to twelve speeds and axle layouts spanning 4x2 up to 8x4. The 8x2 configuration modeled here is a favorite for medium-distance highway runs and regional distribution. Two decades after its debut, the VM remains one of the most familiar semi-heavy trucks working Brazilian roads.
