About the Real Ford F-4000

The Ford F-4000 is one of the longest-serving nameplates in Brazilian trucking — a medium-duty member of Ford's F-series produced at the São Bernardo do Campo plant that Ford opened in 1967. Across several generations, the F-4000 became a staple of Brazilian farms, small cities and light fleets, prized for its simplicity, toughness and easy maintenance. Ford built it locally for decades until it closed its Brazilian truck plant in 2019 and exited the South American truck market, ending Ford's national truck production. This mod recreates the modern rounded-cab generation of the F-4000.
